COBALT - Combining Memantine and Cholinesterase Inhibitors in Lewy Dody Dementia Treatment Trial
The trial will look at the use of a drug called Memantine for treatment of people with Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) and Parkinson’s Disease Dementia (PDD) symptoms.
The aim of the COBALT trial is to find out if Memantine treatment can help improve overall health and functioning for people with DLB or PDD.
Potential participants should be currently taking cholinesterase inhibitors (for example, Donepezil also called Aricept’).
What does taking part involve?
- If you agree to take part, you will join one of two treatment groups for 12 months:

- You will have planned visits and phone calls with the local trial team, who will ask you about your symptoms, how you feel and your trial treatment.
- A family member or person who knows you well will also be asked to answer questions about your symptoms and about how they are feeling.

eDiamond - Invitation Only Study for Eligible People with Type 2 Diabetes.
You will receive an invitation by text or letter for this if you are eligible.
Monet - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Do you have mild or moderate Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
This study investigates the mechanisms of action of neurodynamic exercises to help clinicians identify which patients with carpal tunnel syndrome may benefit more from this treatment.
We will compare the effect of these exercises with a steroid injection (which is also a recommended treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome), or advice.
You can download the full information sheet here which includes how to take part.
HIPPOCRATES - Adults with psoriasis
HPOS is a study of patients with psoriasis running across Europe.
Led by a research team at University of Oxford and University College Dublin we are aiming to identify patients at risk of developing psoriatic arthritis. This is part of a large research project investigating psoriatic arthritis across Europe which is called HIPPOCRATES.
We are interested in any adult with psoriasis.
Up to one-third of patients with psoriasis will develop a related arthritis causing inflammation in the joints and tendons. We want to identify which patients will develop arthritis with the long-term aim of trying to prevent the development of arthritis before it occurs.
You can find out more information including how to register to take part at The HPOS Study · HPOS
