Online Appointments Available

If you have online access, you can now book your blood test and cervical screening appointmens online!

Blood tests are available between 9am-2pm Mon-Fri and from July, our HCA's will have some early morning appointments which will be available to book.  These will be from 08:40, we hope this will help patients in organising tests and make it more convenient for people who need to get to work or school etc.

Please only book an appointment for cervical screening if you have been invitied by letter or text.

If you do not have online access, you can sign up by visiting our Patient Record page.

PLEASE ONLY BOOK A BLOOD TEST WHEN ASKED TO DO SO BY YOUR GP/CONSULTANT/CLINICIAN.  If we continue to receive incorrectly booked appointments we will have to remove this service.
New Appointments

We currently have Physiotherapy appointments available on Saturday 10th June.  These are all telephone appointments.

A NEW SERVICE: 

Tuesday 13th June - Go Active.  Face to face appointments are available with Ashley Chapman from Go Active.  Please call the practice and  speak to the patient coordinators who can pass on your request.  These appointments are availbale for patients aged 18yrs + with a long term condition or anyone who would like to increase their activity levels.

Extended Hours

We are currently unable to open for extended hours due to the pandemic, please accept our apologies.

Cancel an Appointment

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

Interpreter

If you require an interpreter to attend with you when you see your Doctor please notify the receptionist and she will arrange this for you.

Chaperones

If you would like a chaperone with you during a consultation or during a procedure please ask the clinician who will be happy to arrange this for you, although if not requested in advance the consultation may need to be postponed if a chaperone is not available. In certain circumstances a clinician may request that a chaperone be present.

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:00 if you require a home visit.

Your GP will assess the urgency of your request and a clinician will visit you at home if deemed appropriate.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years

Text Reminder Service

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
